SYNOPSIS
Hudu is a production designed for audiences with severe neuroatypical disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disabilities. This wordless work uses music, movement and puppetry as its three dramaturgical tools.
On stage, 4 performers develop a framework that will be modulated according to the audience’s reactions and interactions.
At the entrance, one of the characters greets the spectators and accompanies them to the performance space, before plunging them into a marine universe shimmering with 1001 sequins.
Then, over the course of 40 minutes, the story unfolds of Ben and Martine, two divers from different eras who discover a world hidden deep beneath the sea that has never been explored in this way before. It’s a world full of magical jellyfish that allow humans to live on the seabed. Ben tries to convince Martine to stay with him for eternity. Will she agree to never see Earth again and have fun forever?
Hudu is an immersive performance that allows spectators to create their own show and experience it as they wish. Lights, textures, live music, puppets – everything is designed to offer a sensory show that listens to everyone’s limits.
