Kangourou System

Founded a Montreal in 2006 by Anne-Marie Guilmaine, Jonathan Nadeau and Claudine Robillard, Système Kangourou is a company that creates and produces interdisciplinary spectacles and events.

With his approach Unique, Système Kangourou has been shaping the Quebec theatre scene for more than 15 years. Under the artistic and general direction of Anne-Marie Guilmaine and Claudine Robillard, the company has created and produced 13 original projects presented in various contexts. in situ or on the most varied and innovative stages: the TransAmériques Festival (FTA), the Carrefour international de théâtre de Québec, La Chapelle – Scènes contemporaines, Espace Libre, the MA Museum of Art of Rouyn and even the Grado Cerro Festival in Bogota.

In June 2021, Système Kangourou became a resident company at the Theatre Aux Écuries for a seven-year mandate. In addition to creating their next shows there, Anne-Marie and Claudine also hold the roles of artistic co-directors and are involved in programming, mentoring emerging artists, and organizing the activities of the creation center.
